Privacy policy
This policy explains what the Azonix iPhone app and azonix.app do with your information. Azonix operates the app. Contact us at support@azonix.app.
The short version
- We keep your account, training profile, plans, and workouts you log so the app works on more than one session.
- Apple Health stays on your phone, except the summaries described below when you use the AI coach.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Apple Health for advertising.
- You can delete your account in the app under Profile, Account, Delete account. You can also email us.
Information you give us
- Account. Name, email address, and a password, or the identity token from Sign in with Apple. Passwords are stored by our authentication provider, not as plain text in the app.
- Training profile. Gender, age range, training consistency, height, weight, experience, goal, sessions per week, preferred time of day, equipment, injuries if you have saved any, and preferences such as theme and weight unit.
- Training. Your plan, logged workouts (name, time, duration, exercises, sets, reps, weight, and optional effort), streaks, and favourite exercises.
- Coach. Messages you send the AI coach, and the plan changes you confirm.
- Support. Whatever you include when you email us.
Apple Health
If you connect Apple Health, Azonix reads sex, date of birth, height, weight, steps, calories, sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability, VO2 max, workouts, and outdoor workout routes. The read is optional. You can disconnect it in the app and in the iOS Health settings.
Daily Health figures and GPS routes are used on your device to show progress, maps, and cardio zones. We do not upload those routes or the raw Health sample stream to our servers.
When you use the AI coach, the app sends a summary for the current training period. That summary can include sleep, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, steps, active calories, VO2 max, weight, training load, muscle-volume scores, and cardio-zone minutes. It goes to our server and then to OpenAI so the coach can answer. It is not used to advertise to you, and we do not sell it.
Information collected automatically
- Subscriptions. RevenueCat tells us whether your Apple ID has an active Azonix Pro entitlement. Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your card number.
- Diagnostics. If the app crashes, Sentry receives the error, device and app version, and your account id, name, and email so we can match the report to an account. Sentry may also receive an IP address.
- Security logs. Our API records request rates, which can include an IP address and account id, to limit abuse.
The app does not show ads and does not use an advertising identifier. Product analytics are not sent to a third-party analytics company.
How we use it
- Create and run your account, plan, workouts, and streak.
- Show progress from the training you log and, if you allow it, from Apple Health.
- Answer in the AI coach and apply plan edits you confirm.
- Provide exercise demonstration videos.
- Bill Pro through Apple and restore purchases.
- Fix crashes, secure the service, and reply to support.
Who else processes it
- Supabase stores accounts and training data.
- Google Cloud runs our API in Belgium (europe-west1).
- OpenAI in the United States generates coach replies from your message and the training summary we send.
- Apple handles Sign in with Apple, Health, and payments.
- RevenueCat in the United States records subscription status.
- Sentry in the EU receives crash reports.
- MuscleWiki supplies exercise videos. Our server requests a video file. We do not send MuscleWiki your name, email, or Health data.
We share information if the law requires it, or to protect the service and other people from harm. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep account and training data while the account exists. Crash and security logs are kept only as long as we need them to operate and protect the service. When you ask us to delete the account, we delete the account and the training data tied to it, including plans, logged workouts, and coach conversations. Copies can remain in backups for a short time until those backups expire.
Apple Health data stored only on your phone is removed when you disconnect Health, delete the app, or erase the phone. Disconnecting Health does not by itself delete summaries already sent with a coach message.
Your choices
- Edit your profile in the app.
- Disconnect Apple Health in Preferences, or revoke access in the Health app.
- Skip the AI coach. Core plans, logging, and progress do not require Pro or a coach message.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Delete your account in the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. That removes the account, plan, logged workouts, and coach history. Email support@azonix.app to access, correct, or export your data, or if you cannot open the app.
If you are in the UK or the EEA, you can also complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Age
Azonix is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete the account. The questionnaire includes ages 13–17. A parent or guardian should decide whether a teenager uses Apple Health and the AI coach.
Security
Traffic to the app and this site uses HTTPS. Access to training records is limited to the signed-in account and to the server operations that run the product. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above. Continued use of the app after the new date means the updated policy applies.
